Hammer help

So I’ve had this gold hammer for probably 10 months and been happy. Bought it as a single head. But I’ve noticed over the past week or so that it’s loosing tentacles in one section and I can see a little skeleton by that section... other than that it opens up and seems healthy. The spot in question is the left side in the first two pics and top on the last one.

There’s nothing that I know of that has been bothering it. Any thoughts?

Looks ok?
Pretty extended
Yeah it seems happy healthy except for the one spot that the tissue is slightly receded and you can see the skeleton. I wasn’t able to get a pic if it.

I was wondering if possibly it was starting to split.

Here’s some pics of the recession. It was unhappy last night right after feeding the tank and has since filled out again. The fact that it is typically happy is what is confusing to me... any thoughts anyone? Someone on r2r is convinced it is bad and is going to waste away. But to me, granted I’m not that experienced, isn’t acting like a coral that is wasting away.

Move it away from the palys, and damn you have a lot of bristle-worms lol Your duncans look sad too, i would just move them elsewhere, given them medium flow, and see if it changes anything.

I’ll cut back the palys, they’re growing onto a disk nearest to the hammer anyways. The Duncan’s had just finished/in the process of eating
