How can i fix this problem

So I doing a pvc leak test on my 120. But I noticed the previous owner made some holes on each side. Making the water coming back to the tank loud how can I fix it. Do I have to Redo it

Those are siphon breaks so when you lose power or the return pump stops working, the water won't get siphoned through your return lines

You can plug them and drill new just under water line just be sure your sump can handle the back drain

you pump returns and drains sounds like to much pressure in your return lines if it is spraying out with that much pressure

yeah thats what i was thing about to cut and replace them

Cuz I made hole on both side on the red arrow and didn't know the previous owner made hone on the pvc
