I have heard of some people using a bucket and a cheap power head instead of an actual reactor

I use avast marine on continuous

Oops I forgot to turn the mixing pump off once and dosed slurry, spiked my allk now I’m planning on an avast reactor and stirring constantly.

can’t beat the stability you get from using a reactor

I just started using a stirrer or on my Kalk reactor similar to Avast. I’ll see how quickly it depletes, with a slow turn continuous.

When I ran an avast stirer I had it hooked up to my apex. I had go on intervals over the day. Was probably stirring 75% of the day
