Skimmer Question

Any idea why my skimmer does this? I have to empty it daily. Should i try turning it down?

Yes turn it down.
This can happen due to some frozen food and coral/snails spawning. Very common.

Snails having sex…gets the skimmer every time! Lol

Indeed. Rock flower anemones do that often. Giant clams do that sometimes.

I turned it down so we’ll see. I cleaned it this morning and then had to clean again tonight. I only have one Mexican turbo and 5 nessarious snails in there. No anemones. But, I don’t feed only frozen.. maybe that’s the reason..

I have to dig a little more but I found at least 2 prime mounts for you. Both black.

My guess is the frozen food.

Another thing to look at is the air input nuzzle to see if it is blocked.
