I’ve got a rock pillar that comes within an inch of the surface. I’m looking for ideas for a high light, 400+, encrusting coral that isn’t a montipora. Flow is rocking. any thoughts?

What about a psammocora they have quite a few different color variations. I personally have a watermelon (orange with green rim), all green, and John Deere. They have little frilly polyps I enjoy them.

You can probably get any coral to those numbers but will take some time. They actually get higher par in the wild than our tanks can produce

Encrusting corals are usually the one that will take over the rock and kill everything on it. Just be mindful of that.
