Pistol shrimp question

Mine came out of the sand/rocks….swimming up and down the glass…..is that a little normal?

Now he’s trying to jump out of the tank….hanging out at top corner…

Nitrates/phos over 50. High but have always been high
Salinity 1.026

I have not seen mine doing and doesn’t seem to be normal behavior. Anything new in the tank or have you done any treatments lately?

No….I dose dailies for the shine….thats about it….ml of Alk a day….

Has the sand bed been stirred up at all? Typical when things are going to the surface that shouldn’t be it means they are low on oxygen.

That does seem odd - do you have a goby for him? They are usually quite blind

Yeah he’s got one….just the first time I’ve noticed him acting all weird

I did stir it up …but just a little….ill see if he’s still around tonight…
