Has ever treated for a swim bladder issue? I've been in correspondence with humble fish. But it's hard cuz I know he's a busy guy, I feel like Sunny may not make it through the day. Any help would be greatly appreciated. So far I've infused his food in an acclamation box with focus and Metroplex. Also did a diluted methylene blue dip on him for 3 minutes.

He's a biota and when I received him he was the size of a nickel and completely translucent. He's now 3 years old and beautiful. I would hate to lose him

I thought you had to somehow release the air inside the bladder? Never had this happen before , good luck

Believe so
Here’s some stuff I just dug up on it

I think you can buy syringes at CVS, but want to make sure you hit the spot right. I have never done it but imagine it is list deflating a pneumothorax in a human.

I think it’s as simple as popping it.

Try to feed peas too.
Where do I poke? I've been looking at anatomy of fishes but can't find an actual video of somebody doing it to a yellow tang. Lot of important organs around the swim bladder.

In the post on this page “where aquarium fish come from” in the first video, it shows divers actually relieving the swim bladders with needles on captured fish.
Good luck with your tang

Interesting video. When you see him puncture the fish it's because they're catching them from 60 ft down. So they're depressurizing them much like we would pop our ears when Scuba diving. Don't think this is applicable for my situation but I appreciate the help

Humble fish got back to me, his instructions were methylene blue bath at 0.5 ml per gallon for 48 hours for 10 days straight. Every 48 Hours changing out water and adding new MB. Current situation for sunny
