Citric Acid for cleaning

I need to clean my daughter’s freshwater plastic plants plus I’d like to use it for my skimmer and powerheads. I’ve bought bulk reef supply stuff before but has anyone used this brand or recommend a certain one ?

I read it before but might as well ask again what’s the benefits of using citric acid over distilled white vinegar?

I don’t know if true but I’ve heard vinegar can swell magnets and damage pumps and motors. Expect they would have to be in it for a long time but never had it happen to me. Nice to avoid the smell of vinegar if nothing else.

I use the same brand, it is no less in quality than any others.
It is also food grade.

A lot of reef manufacturers will not recommend soaking their equipment in vinegar.

And if you’re running low on limes, an added pinch helps make awesome Key lime pie.
