Hey fellow reefers,

Nothing like the pond in fall in the morning.
Just set it up in April. Anyone else?

I also do orchids! My favorites are the miltoniopsis and dendrobium varieties. Sadly, they are getting harder to find in stores. Trader Joes used to be a good spot, but no longer. There's a place in Attleboro, but it's a bit of a drive for me so I often order online. Where is your favorite source for orchids?

Good morning all Reefers. I always wanted a koi pond. When I buy my house. and
We don’t need a heater in there in the winter time because of the fish will go to hibernated mode . That’s gonna be my project when I buy my house.

That’s a nice koi pond. Owen thanks for sharing

Yeah gonna be my first winter with it I have already slowed downed feeding. I plan on turning off waterfall and just running and air pump to keep some surface area clear of ice. Though with the winters we have had recently I don't even know if it will freeze up.

Looks good! I’d love to start one eventually, but like Seapets, not until we buy a house. My other hobbies are legos and reptiles.

Don’t worry about the air bubble because it’s gonna freeze as well.

Ebay!

I have a pond as well. When I lived in Rhode Island I had a 900 gallon pond with shubunkin and comet.

Here in California I dug in a 2000 gallon pond with koi.

My ponds about 8 years old. Haven't done much with it this year so it's overgrown quite a bit. But still nice to look out at in the morning while drinking my coffee.

Fly tying/fly fishing is definitely up there for me !
My older brother ties his own flies too, hes a good fly fisherman as well. I definitely enjoy it too, even though he likes yelling at me on how I’m doing it wrong lol. Love the swift river…
