I use those double quarts heaters from Hygger that you recommended a while back. I've quietly taken your advice on many things in this hobby sir!

I've been running ReBorn for the longest time. I've never had to fill it much because I've unfortunately, never had a thriving reef, yet...

In this case, I will suggest break down the calcium reactor abd clean it. The gunk accumulates inside the reactor can be a problem and turns it into a sulfide reactor.

I’ll have clean it out then. Is it okay to reuse the reactor media?

Yes. Just rinse it well in the sink.

For sure! I’ve always looked up to @dz6t and take his advice any chance I get. His farm speaks for itself! I need to make a trip out there sometime soon. Haven’t been there in a long time!

I clean my calcium reactors every 2 months when refilling media. Even in a couple of months, there are a lot of gunk trapped in the reactors.

It's going to be a pain to take apart and get it out of there to clean it up, but it must be done!
