Finally got off my rear end and tried getting my Digital Aquatics Archon controller up and running to upgrade my super old school RKE system to a slightly newer old school setup! Will be able to swap modules and power bars from RKE and be able to have wireless control!

I plan to buy a tablet or cheapo all in on computer to have a nice big display screen mounted with all the data so I don't need binoculars to read my RKE head!

Wish me luck only took me about 2 hours digging around on the Internet to find the right files to put on a USB that never came with the system but she's alive at least!

If you ever decide to want an apex I have a classic gold head unit, EB8, and display and probably a temp probe for $300 if you want something a bit newer. pretty sure you hardwire into it and can see it in fusion

Thanks for the offer. I am hopeful this will be more than what I need. I like the ReefKeeper but my biggest gripe was no wi-fi/internet capabilities as the NET modules don't really work anymore. When I found this package on ebay that had the Archon plus several other items I could use I jumped at it.

I was able to control everything with just 3 power bars but with my future plans to expand my automation I now have 5-6+ powerbars and with a dedicated tablet with maybe a bluetooth mouse and keyboard I should be able to program much easier and see more information much more clearly.

Hopefully the tubes don't burn out and you can still find flints....lol

I have an Apex classic you can have, it's stuck in bootloader mode and needs updating while connected to a PC. I've always meant to do it but just don't have a need for it anymore. It was a reliable unit when it was in use. I can let you have an EB8, the control head, and a temp probe for $100.00 or willing to trade for corals. No display, but if using Fusion you don't really need one anyway. The control is free if it's all you want. Pickup in Foxboro. Best of luck if just going for retro stuff... I'm still on the hunt for a chrome/stainless trimmed slate bottom tank from years ago...lol
