Rock work glue coming apart

Hey guys.

Does anyone else have the issue of the glue on your rock work coming apart? I typically use Gorilla Gel and my structures are coming apart here and there. I unfortunately can't get them back to their original spots (I don't think anyone can.) Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

For my recent structures I used the super thin super glue with rock powder. It dries harder than the rock itself, as anything I’ve ever broke was not from my joints and in the middle of a piece of rock. That’s typically done out of the tank though and better on dry rock I believe. For in the tank I would recommend a superglue epoxy sandwich (rock superglue epoxy superglue rock) that way you have the quick hold of super glue and the strength of epoxy.

I second what @Duds said. Marco rock powder and superthin ca glue works the best on rock thats out of the water and i have had zero issues with it falling apart in my tank over time.

Thanks fellas. I’ll definitely check that out. Most of the rock work is in the tank at the moment with coral growing around it. I don’t want to disturb it too much but where I would like to rearrange it, is where my red monti cap is. I would love to mess around with getting rid of it. That should be fun.
