Day 1 of The Reef Moonshiners Method!

Great looking tank, like the organized look. Down the road if you want to save a few bucks Randy at R2R has DIY mix instructions for several of those additives, which might make it more affordable long-term. Careful with storage of some of the materials though as the raw ingredients can be corrosive/poisonous (with little ones at home).

Nice vid, I'll be interested to see what you think. Are you stopping water changes completely?

Welcome to the shiners
Thank you!

Tank looks good man. Nice work
Appreciate that thanks!

Sounds good thanks! And to be honest, I’ve never done water changes lol. Since the start of my tank. Under a year old tho

Pretty amazing color results after week 1.

very good PE!

How often you doing ICP? Monthly?

Expect corrections just about the every month for the most part. After about a he 6 month mark you'll have a good baseline of what your system needs.

What is the initial cost of the moonshiners material?
Day 1 of The Reef Moonshiners Method
Made a video on YouTube showing myself getting on the shine. Wanted to share it with my community :)

If interest is shown, I’ll update this thread every month to show progress. Thanks!

Great Vid. The tank looks amazing!

Something i came up with for dailies with more than a few drops. Remove the glass tube from the cobalt bottle dropper, cut the flange off the 1ml syringe then insert it into the dropper. 1 sqeeze will be about .5ml.

Nice video, please keep updating with progress and lessons you learn. I hate to point out the real and obvious flaw in your shelf design for all the bottles, but you blocked your Boston Reefers sticker.....
Someone please get this man another sticker so he can "Proudly" display this wonderful and exclusive piece of Reef Jewelry in plain view so all its magic can bless the tank and all that view it. My sticker cured my dog's diarrhea, and I swear my Highlander gets better mileage now.

LOL!! Yes it actually pained me to cover it. I wasn’t thrilled but couldn’t peel it off. BRS stickers are quality. I have to bug @BiGGiePauls33 for another one next time I see him.
