So bummed. This was my second attempt. He lasted over a month. Was eating mysis first week. Haven’t seen him eat mysis since. Was pecking at the rocks all day so I thought he was eating pods and Aiptasia. I guess not.. won’t be trying again for a while, I feel bad. When the time comes that I’m ready to give it another shot, I will try and order a full sized adult to hopefully increase my chances.

I’ve had the same issue, but mine lasted 5 months. It cleaned out all the aiptasia but wouldn’t eat after.

Damnnnn atleast you got somewhat a benefit out of it. I still have 100+ aiptasia
Sorry bud, I just picked up an Australian Stripey from Kevin @All Things Aquatic, it's starting to get a taste for the dreaded aptasia. Can't wait until it really gets going and wipes this tank clean. Sorry about the Copperband, I've never had luck with such a delicate and beautiful fish.

I did have to break them down a little, my CBB did not go after the large Aiptasia. I bought one of those aiptasia wands, then the CBB would follow me around the tank cleaning everything up.
