Large tank delivery tips

Hey BRS

I’m looking to buy a Waterbox LX 330, and was wondering if anyone had any local tips or tricks for a large tank delivery like this?

Are there tank delivery services or white glove options to ensure a successful delivery? Thanks!

Bob, your options are a bunch of buddies with glass suction cup handles and a plan, or pay like 3-400 for a heavy moving company to handle it. Just about anyone who moves pianos would probably be willing to do it. Depending on how heavy the tank is, a harbor freight hydraulic lift can be a life-saver for getting the tank up onto the stand, and dollies are key for moving it around. If you have to go up and down many stairs... I'd consider hiring pros.

I've also heard moving companies don't want to touch large tanks with a 10 foot pole. I think few local reef buddies with suction cups is best option and that's what I hope to do if and when I get my dream tank!
