Anyone breeding clownfish that might have 5-10 babies for sale in the next few months?
I have a breeding pair too just haven't been able to try and raise them. I've tried catching the larvae when they hatch a few times with no luck unfortunately but maybe I should get off my butt and give it another shot!My pair of clowns lay egg sometimes twice a month, haven’t been interested in breeding them but it has peeked my curiosity. I’m planning to do some research and maybe go for it. From what I’ve seen it shouldn’t be complicated but will see I guess , I’ll keep you posted
Me first!!!Tagging along!

My recommendation is try and get a small tile in the spot they lay, in between clutches. Thats what I started doing when I was raising mine.I have a breeding pair too just haven't been able to try and raise them. You want to be feeding rotifers for the first week or so.for what I’ve seen I believe you need to remove the eggs a day before hatching and put them on a tank with a bubbler fanning them , and of course food to be able to feed the babies which I’m sure you got that down doc ! Lol I may go for it not sure. I’m wondering if feeding copepods would do it ?
I have tried that several times and they lay them everywhere besides the tile and then flip me the middle fin...My recommendation is try and get a small tile in the spot they lay, in between clutches. Thats what I started doing when I was raising mine.
