Does anyone PNS Probio in their reef aquarium?

• What are your NO3 and PO4 before and after dosing?
• How old is the tank?
• What’s your filtration setup (skimmer, refugium, carbon dosing)?
• How much are you dosing (ml/gal)?
• How often?
• Do you:
  • Turn off skimmer?
  • Dose at night?
  • Target feed or broadcast?
• When did you first notice results?
  • Days?

• Side Effects?
  • Any bacterial bloom?
  • Oxygen drops?
  • Film buildup?
  • Skimmer behavior change?
• Why are you using it ?? :
  • Reduce nutrients OR
  • Feed corals OR

I have been dosing the purple and red and it appears to have helped but hard to tell as I was doing other new stuff like carbon dosing at the same time.

I have skimmer, rollermat and refugium and I don't shut anything off. I don't really measure out the dosing I just dump some on. I did finish the bottle of the red so I'm just on the purple bottle.

I haven't seen any film or had any bacterial blooms and I am interested in getting their HomeGro kit to automate dosing in the future.

Dave, are you getting better PE or healthy growth since dosing? *even if you cant pinpoint the reason.

Haven’t heard of this stuff. Would like to hear more feedback on this stuff. I am reading it’s to add all at once? Is this a daily additive via a doser?

Ive heard you can dose either all at once and then smaller more frequent maintenance doses or start by breaking into multiple doses to ramp up then use smaller maintenance dose a few time s a week.

I am getting better PE and growth but too many changes happened at once to pinpoint but I would guess carbon dosing was biggest change as my nitrates went from 50-60 ppm to 8-10 ppm but could have been a combination of both but I would guess it was more the carbon dosing as that is automated and I dose the PNS sporadically.
