smallest reef tank

anyone know what the smallest tank is

while back, on RC... I saw a .25 gallon, a 1 gallon and a half gallon.Ill search for the threads

Tanks that small just dont work, because the WP fluctuate way too much.

unless, idk why you would... have a large sump for alot of water volume.

thinking of going small?

get a dixie cup, put some like rock rubbles in and a hermit crab. You got a reef cup.

Ive seen 2.5 gallon pico nanos ( ithink thats what they call them). It was actually pretty nice. had alittle cleaner shrimp/goby pr. with some polyps. I would think that you would have to keep a close eye on a reef that small because even a small amount of evap would reek havok...nevermind a hot summer day.

Shine a 5w light bulb on it and you get 50w per gallon! time to put in a baby clam (it doesn't eat and poop much and easy to "cup feed" it).
