temp/frag tank question

Division Champs
I want to take water from my tank and put it in a 10 gal tank and hob filter set near a window without direct sunlight.
Will smaller corals/frags be o.k. for a few/several days in the temp 10 gal tank.

I can’t see why that wouldn't work, short term, as long as you have a plan to keep the water moving and some source of air…

I was thinking the hob would be enough water movement and add enough air.Or should I add an air stone?

hob should be enough flow....I've done it. I would add a heater just incase the temp should drop a bit overnight like in my basement....if no lights, sps could brown out tho temporarily

just wondering are you re-landscaping?
Somewhat yes. When the frags where little I didn't know as much as I do now(still don't know much)so I need to rearrange, secure, tirm, epoxy corals to rocks instead of to the rock work......

Got heat! But brown out would be temporary if at all?

yeah Bill, I've had sps brown out with no light...minimum light for a few days to a week and recolor back up under normal lights after a few weeks or so
