Probably not... same body type... but one never knows... it is a small tank so I wouldn't do it...

Still has anyone done it? I kinda got stuck with a flame and I already have a good sized coral b. Hes in a little breeder net. I would like to keep him. Better yet does anyone have any tricks for intducing potentionaly problematic fishes?

I keep a coral beauty and a flame angel in my 72 gallon bow front. There was alot of chasing at first but the Coral beauty is the boss! They tolerate each other but I moved some rock work and rearranged the tank to set up new territories. I think your tank is too small. Heck my tank might be a little too small for them both but it works. Here is the thread when I asked the same question.

If you remove the cb then move some rocks around then put them back in the tank at the same time they may not fight as much

I tried it in my 90, the cb was the bass as previosly mentioned. It never worked out, I ended up just catching my cb and bringing him back to the lfs.

Nicely put, Dong. My CB and flame did not get along, and what Dong said is exactly what happened. In addition, it went from a little chasing when the lights went off to a dead CB by sunrise the next morning. No real warning.

A 30 is plenty for a CB but I dont like putting a flame angel in a tank that small. A 30 is enough room for most pygmy angels, some people even keep them in smaller tanks (which I dont agree with)
