Another Water General Question

After changing my resin on my RO/DI the water is coming out faster than it did before. I check my water with a TDS meter and it's reading 1. Pressure is reading 75PSI which is what it ussually maxes since it's hooked up to my sink.

What could have done wrong? It filled up a gallon jug in less than 30 mins.

Hmmm....that's a little fast for a 5 gallon jug.I also have a Water General unit and it takes at least 1 1/2 hrs for that.
But my water pressure is only like 60 psi.

Yes, it was a gallon jug as I was testing out the time it would take to fill.

I was questioning it because before it would drip out the line very slow, but now it;s atleast 5-10 drops a second.

Maybe paranoid, I dont know, but still fighting to get the canisters off lol. I know they got to be expired because I am reading 1ppm on my TDS meter and I already changed the Resin.

Let it run longer. 1 ppm is nothing to really worry about, and you may have to make several gallons in one run before you start getting 0 ppm. Those DI cartridges aren't cheap, don't be too quick to replace it

Also, if your having a hard time getting the canisters loose and you don't have the wrench they make for the job, you can get a "strap wrench" pretty cheap and they work well. I know sears has them.

Thanks for the advice!! That's what that wrench is for LOL. I will give it a try tomorrow.
