Shelf life of ZeoVit products?

Is there one? If I order Zeobak, ZeoStart2 and ZeoFood7, do I need to use any of them within a certain timeframe? Like within two jears say? :p Do any of them need to be refrigerated?

Thanks,
Paul

Yes, some of them do I believe, not sure of how long though (and I may be mistaken, I believe ZeoBak is supposed to be a live culture though)...

The zeobak should be kept at something like 39-68F is the official word I think, I believe one of the other non-basics need tthe same treatment...

All of the zeovit products have best before dates on them.
The zeobak used to need refrigeration but they changed something with it and now it needs to be kept within the temps Dave mentioned.
It requires this to keep the several stains of bacteria at their best.

The other product which req the same treatment is coral vitalizer as i recall but they do change things now and again so its a good idea to keep up to speed by browsing the zeo forum.

We will need our own Zeo subforum over here soon seeing as there are so many converting these days.:D

Hey Paul i mean converting to zeovit method not converting from an empty tank to one with water in:D

^ wow :D now that's funny no matter who you are

Premium Aquatics is having a 25% off sale on ZeoVit through 1/5/09, I believe. Don't hold me to that date. I was wondering if it made sense to get the larger bottles of Zeobak, ZeoStart2 and ZeoFood7? I should have water in the tank by mid March. Zip it Jay. :D I'll PA a call.

I would stock up on the stuff apart from the bak, that has a shorter shelf life.
You may wan't to check with PA though, I suspect the price drop may be an ongoing thing.

I gotta taste this curry BTW. Is it an Indian style curry? Hrm.

"chicken jalfrezi" made from scratch, put some toilet paper in the fridge for when you get home,Ghandi's revenge can be pretty rough:D

No worries Jay. I'm glad to report that I made it through the night with my a$$ intact. It must be because I didn't gets no curry. I guess it was so good that it got all eaten up before we showed. :(
