Here is a cool read from nano-reef I happened to read last night. He got them when they were about the size of yours and goes through raising them and getting them onto frozen food.

i dont know if they are hard to get to breed. i would imagen as with most things its feeding the young that is the hardest part of breeding. im going to try cause i want a army of my own.

Thought you might like this - took it at the Boston Aquarium last week.

I just set up the computer in my " office" where the cuttlefish are. They watch the computer screen so intently. They really liked it when I fired up fallout 3, just both got as close to the screen and stared at it pulsing colors. They got bored with photoshot though.

He is eating tiny crabs that I caught on the backshore of gloucester. They live longer in warm water that alot of the local pods. If anyone is thinking about keeping cuttles this is a great food source for them. FYI

The break water is a pretty solid spot if you want to catch some crabs and probably calmer than the backshore. You can also catch some shrimp there and the left side of Niles if you are patient.

Yes but the backshore you can jump out of you car and boom your there. I flip over some seaweed and scoop up some sand/gravel and there are hundreds of crabs, pods and other random buggies. The isopods dont like warm water, even after dripping them they still die in the tank. They wriggle around enough that the cuttle will still tag them but the crabs will live until they are eaten. And they run away which is fun to watch. THese crabs are small, they look like ticks. I cant wait until the cuttles are big to nail some larger game.
