Another Bulk Reef Supply group buy

Are they typically decent discounts? I just received a catalog from Marine Depot and they have better pricing on bulbs and free shipping. This is the first time I've tried a group buy, so I am not sure what to expect.

Well they give us a 10% discount for being BRS members normally so we'd already get a better rate than what's on the site. But this group buy is priced even better. The cool thing about this is I'll give BRS everybody's account info and they active the group buy pricing for a week and you're not locked into getting something. There are enough people that even if a few people back out we'll have over 10...

And this is different than a normal group buy. Usually a group buy is X amount of people shipping everything to one person's house and trying to arrange pickup. You do save on shipping because you split the costs which is nice for ordering livestock where shipping is usually over $50 but dry goods shipping is much cheaper. This group buy everybody ships to their doorstep so it's easier and we get much better pricing...

Yes on June 2nd they will upgrade our accounts to display the group buy pricing... We then have 1 week to order and the items ship out the following Tues I believe. I think they do this to make sure they get 10+ orders before honoring the great pricing...

· Orders are placed and paid for individually.

· I will email everyone sometime on Tuesday that the group buy has started

· Make sure people know the buy doesn't start until they get that email. I try to get group buys set up Tuesday mornings, but it may be the afternoon before it's ready

Also for everybody that is looking at getting the 5 stage plus it now comes with an extra DI cartridge!!!

Hopefully we'll get those group buy discounts soon, I need to spend some money!!!
