People who got free frags from MikeG during his breakdown in March

Well I guess the reason I didn't sell any equipment is paying off. I never ended up breaking the tank down and it has just been running empty for about 6 months. If any of the people that I gave frags to back in March or people that got good sized colonies for the price of a frag still have some that are doing well, can I get a frag to start up again?

That's the last thing you need to be worried about Jay. Would it be helpful for me to have a barrel of fresh and saltwater ready for you in case of emergency over the next few days?

Just wanted to say a big thanks to dblount and Kiah for hooking me up with a few frags.

Nice finally getting to see your tank Dave. Anyone who has never seen it it is definately worth a trip if you ever have the chance.

Michele glad the Luminarcs ended up working out so well for you. Always nice to find somewhere to save some cash! Wish Liam was a little more cooperative and we could have stayed a bit longer, my wife had a good time as well.

I did and can not keep plants alive for the life of me. Fish are quite happy though.

Every time I go to your house Bill, it makes me start thinking about setting up some horseshoe pits again. And Steve, you should see his neighbor fire pit could get a nice little fire going in there.

Just wanted to uptade for those of you that gave me a few frags. All of them have settled in and are doing well. I only lost one frag which was a ORA green birdsnest that RTN'd the night I added it.

Would also like to say thanks to Rob and daveb for the frags.

Time to sit back and watch them grow!

What are you running? I got a 20L in my work cube.. just got some guppies and platies and some CUC. but run t-5's and a CO2 reactor. Fighting some grey fuzzy algae but other than that the plants are rocking.

I got a tan and greenish/brown paly's and lots of hunks for plain brown leather coral if you have any interest in either.

What are you running? I got a 20L in my work cube.. just got some guppies and platies and some CUC. but run t-5's and a CO2 reactor. Fighting some grey fuzzy algae but other than that the plants are rocking.

It is a 40 breeder and am running 4 39W T5's. Even things like amazon swords just eventually turn a dark green and start rotting away. Granted I have never tested the water in that tank though so could be water quality. Substrate is about 2in of Eco-complete. No CO2 on this tank.

Hmm.. should be plenty ot light and the eco-complete typically works well, even killing swords somethign must be amiss...

I never check any of my parms, use straight tap water, which is prob with I am having algae issues.. but tough to do much else at work.

Most of the stuff I didn't know what it was and didn't keep track of who got what. I actually didn't hear from anyone that got stuff from me at that time. All the people in this thread including you are people I have either helped out previously, are friends, or are just nice people that were willing to give me a few frags to get the tank restocked. Not really looking for anything in particular, just interesting acros as I have most of the common stuff.
