cleaner magnet felt replacement

I need to replace the felt on my magvore.Can it be replaced with sticky backed felt trimmed to fit?

i dont see why not... as long as its not to thick those magnets are very strong at specific distances

i know that the algae free brand sells replacement pads? Might be worth looking into?

The stock Magnavore replacement pads are fairly cheap as well, just in-case you didn't know that.
