I currently have a small hippo tang, 2 chromis, firefish, cleaner shrimp, diamond spot goby, and cleaner wrasse in my 75 tank. I am looking to add some new fish to my tank soon, but want to know the order i should put them in so i can avoid aggression btwn fish.

Here are the fish I want to add.
1. True Percs (2)
2. Powder Blue Tang
3. Powder Brown Tang
4. Yellow Tang
5. Mandarin Goby

Im not adding them all at once, but rather over the course of time. What would be the best list and way to add these fish? Make me a list to help.

Thanks

I wouldn't add anymore tangs in your tank, and imo, don't think any tangs should be placed in a 75g.

Your tank should be mature enough to sustain a mandarin as they are constantly foraging for pods. They can be transitioned to prepared foods but that takes time and will depend on the fish.

Looks like the safest bet from your list would be the clowns.

Absolutely. 1 tang is pushing it in a 75. NO WAY can you add 4. 10 fish is also alot for a 75 IMO. Cut out the tangs and you will be OK. Also be careful with a Mandarin. Most won't eat prepared foods and will starve to death. If you do get one, make sure you see it eat in the store before you buy it.

even with the hippo tang being only about 2 inches, and the rest buying them all small? you cant fit anymore tangs or fish in a 75.

You have to figure that they are gonna grow. You can't buy fish based upon the size that they are when you buy them. Plus, tangs are active fish that like to swim. You are better having a longer tank then taller for them. I have a 90 with 1 small tang in it and I would not consider even getting another. You can get a couple smaller fish but stay away from tangs now. If you crowd the tank and stress the tangs, they are more likely to get ich

stay away from any more tangs. Get two clownfish. I would not put a mandarin in a new system they need mature sand bed. I was told about a year.

Mature sand bed?
You might be thinking of a sand sifting goby,Lisa.
Mandarins require an aged tank that has plentiful pods.
I have a 90 gallon that's a couple years old(tons of pods) 180 gals. total system and I wont even bother with one.
