not many of us left!!!

I wonder why? I have reasons why I am more into LPS. #1 is because I just like them. I only keep one or two acro colonies and let them grow out to add some diversity. For me, I like my tank to be mint and I never have any algae. However, if I do get tied up with life, I don't want to worry that if I come home one day $1000's of corals will be rtn'ed. LPS, softies, and most montis are just incredibly easy to keep and you can slack a little (if you have to) and not be too stressed.

Stunning pictures Brian

Thanks, Barry

thats no excuse!!:D I could see if you liked lps more...but...to worry cause u may get lazy....:o comon. Tom...;)

Haha! Well the bottom line, for me, is that it complicates things. When I buy a home I would like to invest in a large tank..something like 220 - 300. Come that time, things may change. I don't want to have to move an SPS tank, and the thought of moving is the only reason I did another 90g. That's why I respect nice SPS tanks when I see them in person. I know the amount of time and investment went into them!

I have never lost an SPS but I am sure if I packed the tank full that may change.

when you pass the 4 year test with the same tank full of sps...you can make the statement with conviction..until then...well:eek: (only reefers that have, no what I'm talking about) smart move to keep it under 100 in an apartment...(alot will argue about that in their own home too!!!)
If I was to do a tank upgrade..after reefing for over a decade(& I own my home) you know what it would be?? oh & btw...I've had a 155 bowfront set up for 8 years with sps...

nice SPS man, the size of those colonies is impressive. I am playing the waiting game right now for things to grow out...

cool pics, keep them coming if you have time!
