I usually go in about once a week. Last week was the last time for me. The older lady (Co-Owner?) Is pretty rude/unhelpful and Quick to walk away with out a word the second shes done "helping" you

She always looks angry and seems to take it out on some customers.

I don't want to shop somewhere I feel uncomfortable, And lately this store makes me want to get in and get out asap.

i know what you mean. i have gone there quite a bit of times and i have seen her, her husband and there daughter. the daughter and her husband are so nice always helpful. most of the time when i go though it's always the lady there. and she is very extremely rude. i hated going over there because of her. but i loved the store because of the livestock they carry. what i do is i just usually ignore her. i remember she yelled at me once for cycling a tank with live rock and live sand only she said you can only cycle a tank with fish. that's when she sold me 4-5 damsels to cycle my tank. but now i know that is not true

She was quite abrasive at first. But the more I go there the nicer she has been. Her methods are a bit uncoventional, but in some ways I don't blame her, she has to deal with some crazy annoying customers sometimes.

I feel quite comfy there now, to the point where my daughter & I max out on the couch while waiting for the husband to pick out what he wants.

I think this is an amazing shop with knowledgable folks. You looking to buy top quality livestock and supplies not get married, right?

Their stuff is amazing and they know their stuff. All I am looking for even if it is an hour drive.

Top quality livestock? Half the coral are half dead, And your "get married" comment is pretty rediculous.

When a few of us went recently I thought that everything looked pretty good, and everyone was friendly to talk to. It was nice to finally get to use my BRS card, and one of us forgot his card, and after we filled out the paper form the lady up front just said, 'just bring it next time' -I thought that was very cool on her part. We'll be back up there again for sure.

Yeah that lady is scary. She's always in a bad mood. The husband and daughter are really nice. The store is great and I can't complain about the prices. Good store over all. Just ask for help from someone else.

other than me not being able to justify the price of that black tang. I liked the service and the selection was very broad. prices were pretty reasonable. but who doesnt shop around for certain things. I really liked how KC always has things in stock like seahares sand stars ect. were other places wont have them in consistently.
