4' blue 470nm LED from Icecap this sunday at the show from Marco. After giving him a hard time I decided to try it. You decide. FTS and a close up.

sweet light. Ive got the single icecap but I like the strip. is there a link to see it?

Great Pic.......... Like Matt said, that orange plate looks like it is on fire!

Did you have to pull out one of you t5 bulbs from your ATI fixture, or do you have it setup some other way?

They are sized to fit into a fixture (lengths are the same as T5s) so you could clip it right in.
They also come with the T5 bulb clips so you can mount on the side of a fixture or in a canopy (I have them in two tanks one mounted each way).

oooh I like these a lot. I think I might have to pick up 1 of the 2' models. thx for the links and pics

Just out of curiosity, is there any Par value associated with these? Or are they strictly for looks? Either way, I am considering adding 1 or 2 to my new tank.

Any idea how these compair to Reefbrights as far as output? I know the reefbrights will cut through MH lighting. I was wondering if these are strong enough to do the same or are they strictly for stand alone night viewing?

crazy colors you got there cool pic.

....Ronnie WOW that looks sick your pics always rock....the scolys and plate looks sick but it doesnt seem to bring out the acans, i wonder why.....

....Nick, the reefbrites are a little brighter as they house 6X3 watt leds per foot and the ice caps are all 1 watts.....but i think these are a much better option than the Current powerbrites as the housings are big and bulky.............
