fuzzy and green what is it?

beckbrass

Make it fun.
I'll try and get a photo tonight but noticed something fuzzy and green growing on the back of an acan frag. I think it is another coral very short maybe 1/32 inch tall and starting to cover the plug. It fluoresces under actinic if that helps. It is not GSP but looks like the bright green arms on that. Any ideas?

So I think I figured it out. I think it is a green pavona. It started as a small spot on frag of acan i got. Well it encrusted about 75% of the acan and I just fragged off whats left of the acan, a head or 2 of the original 10 might make it. I'll try and post photos in day or so but to me looks like pavona its neon green and hard to touch with small green fuzz when not bugging it.

Sounds like a good description of a pavona. I have a large colony.
