Stocking list for 120g

I am going for an indo-pacific patch reef biotope here. I have 50 lbs of rock (very porous, almost fills tank), 160 lbs of sand, and a 35g sump. Again, this is a 120g tank.

scribbled rabbitfish 8 in

yellow tang 8in

bicolor dottyback 3 in

3 yellowtail or blue damselfish 6-9 in

some kind of clownfish ~3 in

What do you think?

I think Dottybacks have a reputation as being quite mean,and I would scrap the Damsels too,just my opinion. Good Luck.

What do you think of blackbar soldierfish, and any other suggestions for fish? I would like some active ones, some less so.

You'll regret the Damsels. Trust me we all do/have.

The Bi-Color Dottyback is even meaner. They get down right nasty!

I straight dislike damsels, so I may be biased, but I would never get damsels for any tank of mine as I do not like having my fish bullied. But that's just my opinion.

chromis are a lot better than damsels imo plus they school

my favorite fish is a male red mandarin. if your tank is well established this fish is a must

I have had chromis before, andthey just arent as active. Are there any other active NON bullying indopacific fish you could suggest?( Preferably small ones) I have heard 6 line wrasses are good but can bully, thoughts? Oh, btw I am hoping to be able to use egg crate or open topped cover options if possible

Yeah he doesn't bother anyone. I have a pair of blk and wht clowns, flame angel,4 grn chromis, yellow watchmen,bi-color blenny and a yokah???? wrasse( sorry forgot the name).

gonorth16 lights working great by the way have had the tank running for about a month now not using the HQI yet had to fix a connections but everything seems to work great (sorry for randomness on thread haha)
