The anenome went into the refugium on the back of the tank. I used a flat spatula to take it off the wall. I have successfully removed a nem this way in the past how ever as you can see in the photos this morning the nem looks very strange, is the foot injured? If so anything I can do to help him? Thanks

Hard to see in the picture,Deb.
But I don't really think there's anything you can do except wait and keep your fingers crossed.

If I had to guess you injured the foot, most techniques for removing anemones involve using ice on the foot or power head redirection. I have never seen anyone recommend using a spatula to remove it. I'd do a nice water change.

If she got off without leaving some of the foot behind it will be fine
I remove them with my fingernails from Rocks with no issues

Mine does that some times when she is unhappy with me cleaning tank, or working on the tank, or when we changed lighting, she curled up for a couple of days till she got adjusted. I am sure its just the change, and the event of moving and being removed from the side of the tank. Hopefully she will be back in action soon!

Hi Deb,
FYI - my RBTA was going great in my tank until a few weeks ago when it decided to go on a trip around the tank. Unfortunately, its tenacles got sucked up into the power head and most of the tips were cut off (had all these bright orange glowing tips all over the tank), but after I shut off the pump it fell to the bottom and moved over into the rocks. A few days later he was doing fine again. Not suprised yours is doing better, they seem pretty hardy once established.
