1 foot Squid

Sammynels

Go Big or Go home..
Guy, today I plan on finally putting my 1 foot live squid in my 55G mixed reef. FEDEX just dropped him off as it is making one hell of a riot in the box so I would like to get him in the tank soon. Anyone have any suggestions before I begin acclimating?

So need pics!!

Yes, pic please

Cant`t wait to see that. I jig squid off the pier in Ptown, and always thought they would be a cool to have in an aquarium if you had a big chiller. Fascinating creatures. I encountered a huge one last spring, probably 18 inches.

squid have beaks like birds and eat fish.. in the wild anyways..

to me squid at tuna bait and deep fried.

id love to see how it goes inking can wipe out everything very fast so be careful for that

Guys, I woke up the other morning and it was about 5 degrees so I thought I would put out a little "April Fools" joke out there to help people look forward to the spring. I'm also very impressed no one yelled at me for trying to keep a 1' squid in a 4' long tank. FAIL.

Hahaha u know us! We would give most anything a shot. I'd still love to see this done lol

I may have to give you a buzz next time I'm there. My dad goes pretty often to P-town but I try to stick to the North Shore when I go squid jigging.
