144w cree led 48" fixture sps?

seems realy pricy to me and i don't like the led combonation, xml's are a waste of money on a 72 bow.
i built a diy light for my 72 with programable sunrise/set timer, moonlights,uv's and a better color spectrum and less power consumption(newer xt-e's) than that one for around $400 w/all cree led's

Do you have a center brace on your 72?

I think these claims are way overstated--I don't see this unit reaching 250 PAR at 4 feet of depth--or 500 at 2 feet. Seems very high. I also believe they are misrepresenting their spectrum-- as they indicate "actinic" at 420nm. Crees don't peak at 420nm:

These very well may have plenty of intensity to grow coral--including sps. I'd be concerned more about false claims.

yes it does have center brace and glass tops and plastic canopy! that's why i wanted a 48" light fixture! they use xm-l for cool whites xt-e for royal blue and xp-g for moon lights!

That seems super expensive for that fixture. Take a look at reefbreeders led fixtures they look about the same build quality but cheaper. Also my chinese (taotronics) fixtures are still running strong, i got them for $125 each and i am happy with them but i wish i bought the model that had more blue than white so i dont have to run the blues at 100% and whites at 45% to get that 14k MH look and shimmer.

Everyone keeps saying thats these are expensive for what they are, it seems all other provided examples are bridglux used lights and these are crees. Is there a comparable model with crees, please let me know! I am not interested in bridgelux led's, i am looking for a comparable model that isnt do it yourself with crees! Also i like the fully programmable feature automated! no offense to bridgelux, i would just prefer crees!
