24g nano lighting

Hello,
I currently have a 24g jbj nano with the stock canopy. The canopy has 2 compact fluorescents for lighting. I want to upgrade to something better. Anyone have ideas? I was thinking getting rid of the canopy all together and leaving it open as well.

you can always retrofit led lights into the canopy or just build yourself a led setup from rapidled
