24hr photo period?

Anyone has any opinion regarding keeping the light on 24/7?
Any success or failure stories? Thanks

Most organisms need rest and also set their metabolism and time sensitive biological function based on the photo-period. Are you just talking about corals? If so, there is also the photoinhibition issue. Some aquaculture farms people do use a split photoperiod though. Basically, 6 hours on, 6 hours off. This can work with certain corals, but unless you have a ton of light, you probably won't notice.
