60g cube tank build

I figured I would share my progress of my new tank that Im having C.S. build. Ive started building my stand for the 2ft cube tank. Heres a few pics of my progress. Ill share pics of the tank soon as I can.

Im using 1/2" sanded birch maple with 1x3 maple front frame. I bought a pocket screw jig for this project and its working out to be my best purchase in a while. Ive made some progress but still have alot of work to do.

actually ive made 2x4 stands before and for a 60g tank I dont think that 2x4s are needed. I have limited interior space and didnt want 2x4s taking up even more. If you check out any oceanic stand they are basically the same design, they make them more like a kitchen cabinet than a house.

Nice work. Is the tank rimless? Give us some details. CS made my frag tank and it came out killer. You will be pleased.

im going with a lumenbright mini reflector, galaxy 250w elec ballast, 20k radium se bulb.

yes its a 24"x24"x24" rimless tank with a coast to coast overflow.

ive heard only good things about CS and his build quality. I cant wait, im like a kid at christmas time.
