92 gallon corner bow Lighting Question

I'm building a canopy for it as we speak. It's been running for about 6 months with crappy t5's on it. Mostly have softtys and will pobably stick with. I bought 2 250 watt blueline mh's and was wondering if I really need 2 or just 1. Should I put both mh's in the canopy or just 1. Also how much space do I need between the water and the mh's. THanks.

I run a Maristar 1x250 with 2 x 24 T-5 on my 92. You don't need ANY MH if you stick with softys, but a 1x250 MH with a good reflector will do you fine for LPS, and SPS in the top half of the water column.
