95g Wave Front Journal

I had one of each too in my 92 corner tank and after a while they were inseparable. Give em time

Update

Unfortunately both clowns came down with ich shortly after adding them and I lost the orange one. :( the black made it through, ich is gone and he is doing great. I may need to get rid of him though if I decide to keep my maroon when I finally merge the two tanks together.

I picked up 5 scissortail dartfish and a lawnmower blenny last weekend and they are all doing awesome. Blenny is doing a great number on the hair algae, though I'll prob pick up a seahare as well to speed it up. The dartfish are funny because there's two that are pretty brave and out of their cave most the day, however another two takes a bit longer and the fifth barely leaves the cave.

Been a while since last update and few new things to the tank. Firstly I've been using filter socks and they've cut down the noise/evaporation and salt creep dramatically. I've been keeping an eye in my params as I've heard they can be nitrate factories, however everything has been testing 0.

I'm glad to say the nasty hair algae is 90% better since aggressive removal during a few water changes and the addition of the blenny and sea hare. Mostly just exists on the sand now.

I was going to start moving a few corals from my 40 into the 95 this weekend but then realized the Alk levels weren't even close so I've been trying to raise the 95's Alk. Maybe this week or next weekend I will move a few pieces over. I'm probably only going to keep a few pieces of coral that I really like and sell most the remaining off. Also not sure I'll be able to transfer all the LR over so may be posting some of that for sale as well (along with the LS).

Anyways, now for some pics! :D

Here's a pic of screen top I built to prevent any jumpers, though I will still need to cut a piece of acrylic to the curve on front right side of glass.

I really like your aquascaping with the one smaller island. Also particularly enjoy the gorgonians! Nice looking tank.

Thank you very much! The purple gorgonian used to be even nicer with purple polyps. I'm still trying to determine how to get some of these corals to color up more..
