A couple of losses to report

Sad news entirely due to owner negligence.

I had 2 yellow coris wrasses and a long nose hawk fish in my 20 gal tank.
Due to my kid's birth and subsequent jaundice problems, I've been spending much time at MetroWest Med Center. I wasn't feeding regularly. On top of that, I decided to forgoe A/C and use a fan blowing across the top of the tank to cool things. To enable the evaporative cooling, I elevated the acrylic top to the tank about 1/2".
While I was away, the long nose hawk jumped out and died, and one of the yellow wrasses starved to death.
Nice work, huh?
Bummer.

I think this would be considered acceptable reef negligence, besides the hawk should've known better!
