A lot of something hatched in my tank

Sushi Anyone?
Ok so last night I get home and notice my fish freaking out eating, so I turn the light on to see what they are eating and there are hundreds of little things swimming in the entire tank. There were everywhere and my fish were eating them. It kind of looked like either baby fish or shrimp. They are a tiny bit bigger than mysis but have big blue eyes. They look tadpole like. They also swam pretty well, not just floating around. I sucked one up to take a pic. I'll post the pic when I get home from work.
I'm thinking either my cardinals had babies, I thought they hated eachpther. But I recently got a star polyp peice that had a bristle worm, starfish, Christmas tree worm and 2 white things on it. Hitchhiker city LOL one white spot looked like a spider nest. Then there was a white lint ball sized and looking thing on it. That now has a tube like opening on it. So in assuming that's what they came out of.
Any ideas, let me know please. Thanks

This is the best pic I could get of it.

What fish/shrimp do you have in your tank?
Cardinals would do it. That spider web thing is a type of worm and unlikely the cause of this.
That photo sure looks like a shrimp.

All I have is 1 clown, 2 bangaii cardinals, 4 hermit crabs, 2 nars. snails, and 3 turbo snails... no shrimp...

could be mysids, bengai are mouthbrooders so thier fry will be fairly developed when they hatch

looks like a ghost shrimp in that pic
