Acro ID help plz

picked this up from realm of pets in Conn. last weekend. it was on the clearance rack so i couldnt pass it up. anyone know what it is?
the branching sps in the middle, not the teal stag.

It could be a. suharsonoi or a. lokani. In any case, it's a nice piece. I'm surprised it was on a clearance rack.

yeah, i'd agree with suharsonoi or lokani. If i had to make a guess on the two i'd say suharsonoi.

Could also be a granulosa, possibly A. caroliniana.. there's a lot of possibilities unfortunately. Sometimes it's impossible to tell for sure.

If you want to know what to call it for other people it's a "purple deepwater acropora"

Let me know what lighting level you put it at. I have one (smaller) that looks the exact same and is finally coloring back up in a shaded spot. (8 bulb T-5's)

its about halfway up the tank right at the front glass, 3/4 of the way to the left so its not under the center brace.
it was completly brown when i got it, so im looking forward to seeing how it colors up.

it was in a live rock tank @ the Fish store so it was getting almost no light.
