Adding a Purple tang?

Hi, just wanted to get a few point of views. I have a 92 corner bow with 2 medium yellow tangs and a med hippo. I'm adding a 125 sump fuge downstairs and need to take down my 110. I have a 5 inch Puple in there and was wondering if it would be safe to add him to the 92 for a bit while the fish room is tackled. I value all your opinions and thankyou in advance.

I have the same tank, and I think it would be OK depending on the length of time in there. I wouldnt want to put him in there for more than a couple weeks, but im sure others would. You sure you will be able to get him out later?

I think so. Once the tank downstairs is done i'm going to redue the one upstairs so everything will be taken down for a day. Thanks for the reply.

yeah for a little while. It's just so i can set up downstairs for them.

how long? I wouldn't leave them long, and purple tangs can be pretty aggressive.....

The one I had killed a CBB in 1 day.

purples and yellow really don't play well with each other, my purple kill my two yellows in the matter of a week and i had the yellows in the tank for a while before i add the purple and this was in my 225 6 foot tank

Ouch, ok sold me on the idea of setting up a seperate tank to house the big guy.

I guess you could also section the tank off......................
