adding dry sand

I have some old live sand that was rinsed off with tap water then sundried for approx a week over the summer. I was wondering if there is any reason that this cant be added to my tank.

Nope! Just spread it out lightly as to not smother your existing sand bed.Depending on how much talking about do it over a week or so. And welcome to the club!

Thank you very much! I just Got a Dragon Wrasse and my Domino damsel seems to think it is a good target for picking on, So i set up my Aquafuge and was going to put some sand from the main tank and some of the dry sand so it would be able to bury itself.
