Where did that section go? Did it get merged with the "politics"?

Interesting I never noticed it get pulled. Nor did I hear of it being discussed. It did annoy me to see threads as "what's the best skimmer" or " should I switch to led" in a forum called advanced topics

That being said I guess all that falls into general reef talk

I think the Advanced Forum was pulled as it wasn't really being used. I seem to recall a thread where Delta mentioned something about it.

Seems like most people use Reef Talk.

All the threads were merged into reef talk. My understanding is that it was because advanced topics wasn't used much so the change was made to reduce clutter.

You should be able to find it if you search, nothing was deleted, just moved to Reef talk (and buried because the advanced topics threads were seeing very little activity).

Hello, you will be seeing some other changes over the next several weeks.

The BOD met last weekend and addresses request from the paid membership.

I am out of the office currently and will communicate these changes as time permits upon my return.

Thanks for merging some of the forums. There doesn't seem to be enough posts in the more specialized forums to justify keeping some of them. Better to have more discussions in the main forum until that becomes unwieldy.
