Aiptasia Remedy Worked

OK so it's a bit less techno-savvy than those of you that have all sorts of specialists products, but I had several nice rocks with a ton of AP on them. I tested my method out the other day on one of the rocks and it worked great. Turned the tap water on as hot as I could get it, and ran the area with the AP under it for 15 secs. It's been back in the tank now for 4 days with no sign of anenome's and the clean up crew is having a field day on that rock eating left over AP parts out of the holes. Not high tech, but it does work with no apparent harm to anything else.

Just not sure

if that will work in the long run. That stuff will come back if any is left even slightly alive. I am going the Berghia route. I will see how that works. I have enough on my rock to keep them busy and fat and happy for a while.

I want to go the bergia route too, but I'm finding that harder than I thought. The things apparently spit out eggs by the hundreds every few weeks, starting when they're only a half an inch long so there must be millions of them out there, and yet all the vendors want a fortune for them, plus shipping.

I was thinking that some folks here on BR would have gotten some, and then when all the aiptasia was gone rather than let them die they pass them along to someone etc. It's been over a year now since these have been out here in our area so I'm wondering why we don't see them posted here from time to time with little notes that say "come get 'em before they starve."

Anyway... Any one have any locally? I'm happy to grab them and feed them very well. Will ay for them if available locally.

Steve
