OK my returns keep on blowing out fine air bubbles. How do I stop this?? I have no clue how the air is getting to the pumps.

I dont know if that picture will help but thats what my chambers look like

how low is the water in those chambers? If low enough, the "cascade" of water that falls down the wall will carry some bubbles to the pump intake.

The chambers to the far left and right are about 1/2'' below the chamber before it. I didnt think that small of a "cascade" could cause that.

This would be my guess as well. Perhaps something is causing a low level of water in the return chamber, which leads to a higher mix of oxygen/water at the intake to your return pump.

In my new nano tank, there was an obstruction in the baffles between the first/second chambers of my sump. This caused slow water flow from 1st=>2nd=>return chamber. This slow flow caused the water level to drop in the return chamber, resulting in air/water being sucked into the return pump - causing a lot of bubbles like you described.

Thanks I will pull it apart this weekend to see if I can figure out what's going on

When water evaporates, does the level in the chamber(s) drop? (it should) if so, add a little extra top off water so the chambers are all almost full and see what happens.
