just noticed my blenny looking extremly fat and almost to a point where its swimming funny and odd when jumping about the rocks.

should i be conserned?
or just go with the flow

mine can get pretty fat looking when it's pigging out on algae.

they can also get sick from a diet that is not enough algae....like if they are fed too meaty of a diet.

A picture would be helpful, as wrassefan mentioned

Blennies can get bloat... got this little bit offline:

Diet Requirements: Herbivorous. Offer Nori daily if natural algal growth is not present. The Lawnmower Blenny will generally accept whatever food is offered, but is not capable of handling very rich diets like those of carnivores. Typically, this can result in "bloat" and eventual death of the individual. It is, therefore, prudent to offer vegetable based foods first, followed by foods for any carnivores once the Blenny has finshed off the vegetable matter

Just wanted to second what Jay and Meg just said, we've had our Lawnmower Blenny for over two years now.

I unfortunately had my Algae Blenny die recently, and I'm assuming there wasn't enough algae for it to munch on. It looked very skinny, and could never fatten it up... I noticed he/she wasn't very active the last couple of days of its life

thanks for the ifo
i will double check its diet so it has enough algea

The pics you posted of your tank looked like you didn't have much algae. Good for you, not so good for the blenny. On another note, is the mandarin eating foods you offer it?
