Alkalinity High

I just tested alkalinity and its 16, calcium 550. I believe its because my flow valve is broken on the calcium reactor. I have a new one on order but shut down the reactor for now. Will some water changes be ok.

Yes but not too much. Even a 20% change at 9dkh on the new water will take you down to 14.6, which is too much all at once. You may be better off just letting it fall on its own if everything looks ok.

What's your salinity?

There's you problem remove some tank water and add some top off water. Little a day until you lower you salinity

Next time you mix water chech the parameter to see if they are on check

O trust you are topping off with RODI?

Then just like Greg said, dilute the salinity back to normal and your Ca/alk will come down with it.

I'd add a few gallons of RODI, then siphion out a few gallons of saltwater and repeat over a few days until you hit 1.025. If the levels are still off at 1.025, they won't be off nearly as much and you can correct from there.
